"I have done the USA Today Crossword edited by you almost every
morning for the past couple of months, and I just wanted to say that I
think today's crossword by Patrick Jordan was the best I have done.
The difficulty level seemed just right in that I had to think about
each answer, without ever seeming completely out of left field. For
all the questions where I had to look up the answer, I thought "Wow, I
should have thought of that" instead of "I would have never gotten
that," which I think is indicative of a good puzzle.
So I just wanted to say, great job!

Hi, Patrick! I’m sorry it took so long to reply. My father thought it
was a wonderful and unique gift. He was very pleased. By the way, we
were doing a USA Today puzzle recently, and my sister and I were doing
very poorly, and I said “Who made this puzzle?” My father said
“Patrick Jordan.” All I could do was laugh! You just might hear from
